Future Box (Exhibition) – AI meets immersive staging at the Forum of the Future

WE ARE VIDEO is creating the lighting and video design for the new exhibition at the Deutsches Museum. The exhibition will focus on the question of what the future will look like. Which technologies will shape our lives? A central theme is the role of artificial intelligence. Visitors to the Future Box at the Deutsches Museum in Munich are invited to engage with this thought-provoking topic through an interactive journey into the world of tomorrow.

The Forum of the Future on Museum Island, which opens on 17 March 2025, will feature innovations such as quantum computers, humanoid robots and spaceships, offering a glimpse into a future full of opportunities and challenges. What makes this event unique? Visitors will be guided through the exhibition by an artificial intelligence system called AI-ME. This innovative approach to visitor engagement represents a unique museum experiment.

WE ARE VIDEO developed the lighting and video design for this extraordinary experience. The result is a dynamic fusion of video art, targeted lighting accents and immersive visual elements, offering visitors a truly immersive experience that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Our designs create spaces that are interactive, atmospheric, and emotional, using a play of light and shadow to connect technology and humanity.

AI-ME & the Future Hosts: A Dialogue about the Future”I am AI-ME, your personal artificial intelligence.” Curious, charming, and enthusiastic about inventions, AI-ME guides visitors through the exhibition, asking questions and encouraging reflection. She is supported by the Future Hosts, who engage in conversation with visitors as human guides. The Future Box is more than an exhibition—it is a place for dialogue.
