Greenfields Open Air 2025 – A spectacle of electronic music

Every summer, Munich’s horse racing track (Graf-Lehndorff-Straße 36, Riem, 81929 Munich) is transformed into the ultimate hotspot for fans of electronic music. On 5 July 2025, Greenfields Openair celebrated its 22nd edition, once again making Munich the Mecca of electronic music.

For the third time in a row, WE ARE VIDEO contributed pre-coordinated visuals and live content. As usual, our partner Magic Licht- and Medientechnik once again was responsible for stage and lighting design as well as operations.

On over 17,000 m² of festival space – around 4,000 m² more than last year – visitors can expect two large stages, a lavish food court with more than 20 stalls and a total of 30 bars.

From 11:00 to 22:00, there will be electronic music and a visual show in a class of its own.

The line-up is impressive: Charlotte de Witte, Paul Kalkbrenner (live), Sven Väth, Pan-Pot, Reznik, Shimza, Meera, Rivo and Marten Lou will provide 11 hours of energy and pulsating beats.

Greenfields & We Are Video – The interplay

WE ARE VIDEO stages visual experiences and accompanies festivals such as Greenfields Open Air with high-quality VJs and visuals that perfectly complement the mood and energy of the acts. (Light Sound Journal)

This includes:

Visual projections and mapping, individually tailored to each set

Creative visuals that reflect the musical style and atmosphere, from techno and house to live acts

Immersive moments such as the kiss cam, which directly involves the audience

The goal: a symbiosis of light, image and music that allows the audience to immerse themselves deeply. For the third year in a row, we are creating visual highlights that will linger long in the memory with NDI streams and synchronised stage design.
