U.S. CONSULATE GENERAL
U.S. CONSULATE GENERAL / MUNICH
In April, the “Transatlantic Innovation Week 2021” was held in Munich, among other places, to promote and celebrate cooperation between the U.S. and Germany. The exchange focused on technologies and innovations to help jointly address and overcome the most pressing challenges of our time. As a recognizable sign, the U.S. Consulate in Munich featured an artistic event each evening from April 19-25, in line with the theme of innovation.
A video mapping by Betty Mü illuminated the entire building front facing the Altstadtring. The mapping was adapted to the architecture of the Consulate General, which was built in the 1950s by Bavarian architect and designer Franz Joseph “Sep” Ruf and is now recognized as a cultural monument. In terms of content, the main themes of Innovation Week were taken up.
